Hoot Reading, a provider of online literacy education for children, has been selected as one of the grand prize winners in the TELUS Business #StandWithOwners contest. The award comes $125,000 in funding, advertising, and technology.

Callia, a flower delivery company, ranks 40th on Globe and Mail’s ‘Top Growing Companies in Canada of 2023’ with 954% year revenue growth. Callia ranks the highest of 6 other Winnipeg companies that made the list: Highway Motor Freight Ltd. ranks 133rd, Wellington-Altus Financial ranks 165th, Genuine Comfort ranks 174th, National Sales ranks 230th, People Corporation ranks 317th, BCV Asset Management Inc. ranks 420th.

Taiv, a ad-replacement hardware company, has launched a new website.

Conquest Planning made the Fintech 100 list for 2023 by CB Insights. CB Insights researched nearly 20,000 firms from around the globe and across different countries to compile a list of the world’s most promising fintech’s moving forward, of which Conquest was not only the only Canadian company selected, but also in the top .5% globally.
