Taiv, a Winnipeg-based company that detects ads playing on TV and replaces them with more relevant ones, has just raised US$13M Growth Round. This brings their total capital raised to more than US$30M, and brings their valuation to just under US$100M.
Taiv’s co-founders Noah Palansky and Jordan Davis were both named to Forbes’ 30 under 30 list. Making them the first Winnipegger’s, who’re still building a company in Winnipeg, to be named to the list.

SimpleHedge, a Prairie startup focused on helping farmers lock-in high profits, has just raised $4M pre-seed with participating from Trillick Ventures.
ConstructionClock, a Winnipeg-based contractor labour tracking app, has raised a $2M seed round led by Trillick Ventures and M25.
The Emend Fund has raised $5M from the Manitoba First Fund to invest in Manitoban startups. Emend Ventures will prioritize companies in agriculture technology alongside innovation for oil & gas, mining, clean water, industrial AI, transportation and logistics, and critical infrastructure.
Agi3, a Manitoba agritech company, received a $4.7M investment from ScaleAI. The project aims to accelerate the adoption of AI to strengthen competitiveness in Manitoba’s agricultural sector.
Appraiva, a leading visual property intelligence platform for investors, has been acquired. Zach Simmons will join its Board of Directors, and the investment will support Appraiva’s continued platform development and expansion efforts.
